It has been over 2 years since this project was initially launched publically. It is amazing to see how it has grown in both features, and users. I am only one person, and so things often take a while and I may not think of everything that can be added. Feedback is greatly appreciated and I try my best to address suggestions and incoporate them into the website.

The journey has been incredible and I am eager to continue making improvements and adding new features. Speaking of journeys, progress on the Journey Planner has been a bit slow and I regret to say that it will be stuck in beta for a while as I figure out how to further progress with it and make improvements.

Version 1.5.9 should hopefully be arriving in the next few days, in which it will add a few minor improvements. Following this, I have plans for version 1.6.0. One of the main new features will be a page to browse vehicles by type - for example, seeing all Scania Hybrid buses. In addition to this, following a very good suggestion from a user, will be an extension of the email notification system. At the moment, you can subscribe to receive email notifications when a vehicle re-enters service after a few days of inactivity. Under the new planned system, you will be able to receive notifications for any vehicle of a subscribed 'type' whenever one enters service.

I wanted to post an update regarding progress and plans, as I feel it is important for everyone to have an understanding of the directions I plan for the website to head in. I will try to continue to be as transparent going forward, posting more about progress. I cannot put a timeframe or date on the release of v1.6.0, but will try my best to get good progress in.

As always, feedback is welcome and encouraged. If there is anything you think could be improved, or added in the next version or even a later one then be sure to submit it through the feedback form!

Finding nearby stops has been possible from the search stops page, but this did not let you see where exactly it was nor allow you to find stops further away. With the introduction of the stops map, this is no longer an issue! You will see all stops around your current position on the map, and clicking them will show all the routes that service the stop.

This page can easily be accessed by going to the normal stop page, and selecting 'Map' on the new tabs.

With the release of this update, the website finally has a page to view the timetables of routes! In addition, there is also a page now where you can view and search routes to get to the page with the timetable.

Of course there are a few other additions with this update, all of which can be viewed on the updates page!

Along with many fixes and improvements this update, I have also implemented a new feedback page. If you ever have any feedback or suggestions for the site, feel free to submit it here! Addtionally, if you encounter any bugs or issues, then please submit a bug report here. Your feedback is appreciated and I will do my best to address it!

With that said though, I want to iterate that I am just one person, and can only do so much at a time. Please be respectful, and constructive with any criticism when submitting your feedback.

The privacy policy has been updated to reflect usage of location data. Additionally, a new terms of service page has been created.
